The Medicine Ball

Last week I decided to try the new Starbucks drink that everyone has been raving about. It is part of Starbucks’s secret menu, but it is being added to the new menu due to its popularity. The drink is called the “Medicine Ball” and it is made up of:
– Hot water & half steamed lemonade
– Jade citrus mint green tea
– Peach tranquility tea
– Honey

This drink is overall healthy, but does contain a decent amount of sugar. It is known for being a “cold breaker” and is good for your immune system. I would 100% suggest this drink to anyone who has a cold & feels they may be getting sick (I want to drink it on a regular basis in the winter because I get sick easily). The drink is beneficial because the combinations of honey and hot water/lemonade help soothe the throat. While the peppermint helps with congestion. And of course, tea is always good to drink because of the antioxidants which keep your immune system strong.
When ordering this drink I would suggest getting the largest size (the venti) because there are two tea bags in the drink, I originally got a smaller size and the drink was too strong.  Also, the label on the drink will not say “Medicine Ball” because that is not the technical name, but if you ask for the “Medicine Ball” the workers will know what you are asking for.
